a little tickle!
I shopped all day and I just can’t stand it! Warrenton in 19 days! WOW.
Thus the beginning of the sleepless nights…a list going in every room…the self-doubt…do I have enough stuff…the pressure…will it all come together…what was I thinking when I bought that…is it priced too high…is it priced too low…
Dreading the “weekend” crowd that just doesn’t get me…at all. Gotta love those folks who try so hard! They stand outside my space with squinted eyes and wrinkled brows thinking that if everything is blurry it will make sense!
I feel like an animal at the zoo. Perched on my stool behind my pink podium in the corner of my ”cage” staring out while they stand at the edge staring in and wondering if they dare approach…..
Surviving the “why would I buy one of those” or the “what in the world would I do with that” or how ’bout “my fillintheblank has one of those” and I always love the “do you have a trashcan…for my soda can, gum, gnawed on turkey leg, ETC!”
My grandfather used to say “I wouldn’t have that if I had room for a battleship!” Suddenly my whole space feels like a gunmetal gray heap of scrap…with price tags on each fragment!
But then my loyal and faithful customers show up and ooh and ahh! The tension drains from my body! They get me! And it’s unbelievably awesome!
I appreciate each of you to pieces and I thought I’d show you just a hint of a very few things that I am so excited about and that are definitely coming to Warrenton!

I hate the trashcan question! A man held up a mid century, amazing clock, looked at the price and said, “And at this price, it doesn’t even work?” Oh, dear.
I never got to wander last show. Maybe I’ll make it over to visit on your late night. “Discolored and crazed” has my interest! ~Mindy

If it’s any comfort to you, I am having all the same doubts and panicky thoughts, and also have piles and lists everywhere!!! I think my garage is going to explode!!! We had a great week of shopping and can’t wait to show you all the new goodies! Waco Drive will be the best aisle in Cole’s. In fact, some of the best stuff in Warrenton!!! It’s gonna be a great show!!!

Janet, your booth is tdf fabulous, and really stands out as a stunner at Cole’s. I SO wish I could see you there, with all of your amazing finds, so artfully arranged. And you are such a sweetheart to boot! I’m just getting sadder and sadder thinking about it…alas, the stars will align for me someday and I will be back!

Oh, the dreaded weekend shoppers…. For every few of THOSE, though, there’s one of ME. I doubt you remember, but I spent about a hour in your booth oohing and aaaahing. It’s always worth it when someone gets it. I’ll stop by April 2…. XOX
