Words. They are powerful little things. They can make you laugh with abandon, weep with joy or smile with contentment. Some words sound funny - like clinkety-clank. Other words just look funny - like giggle. And still other words can make your heart ache with yearning - like dream.

be jealous!

I cannot believe that I would be allowed to have this much fun in one day! Yesterday morning I rounded up my pink rain boots….I knew the parking lot was going to be a muddy mess and it was….and then I stopped by and picked up The Mother! I know, I know, sit down cuz we went to The Red Barn Winter Show in Round Top! Can you stand it?

The Barn was not lacking for talent and included so many of my favorites! And you will never guess who I ran smack dab into….yup, Cat Daddy himself! And you know what that means? It means Ms. Talking Trash was not far behind! Yeah, she is my SweetTalk Pal this month and there she was! Big hugs for everyone!

Let me waste not another second and get busy showing you pictures! No commentary necessary….they speak for themselves!

First stop, Judy Hill! She sets up at Marburger!

Next stop Theresa Cano! You can find her at Zapp Hall in Warrenton and year round at Heritage Antiques in Lufkin!

Next I ran into Meloney and Brian, well he calls himself “Brian” but he’ll always be “Seth” to me! They setup outside Cole’s and I think they also do Marburger, but don’t hold me to that!

On the next row I found Tricia! Busy girl, she does Marburger and Red Barn!

And then Theresa Smith! When I saw her booth at Marburger last Fall I asked her if I could bring a suitcase and move in!

By the time I got to Linda of Willow Nest Farm I was a bumbling idiot! So overtaken by the creativity of her space it took me minutes (I’m sorry to say!) to realize exactly who I had stumbled across! More pathetic than that is that I completely spaced on taking pictures! You will have to trust me when I tell you that the creativity was beyond FAB! My apologies to Linda, I’m sure she wondered exactly what I had been sipping on the way over!

Jealous, right? Toldya! I think I’m creative until I spend a day with this group! They set the bar so high that at this very moment I’m overflowing with self-doubt! But shopping is an easy cure for that! And I bought some real treasures! A few to sell in Warrenton in the Spring and a few to keep….one of the hazards of this “job”! I’ll share my goodies with you next post!

Don’t forget about the SweetTalk give-away! You leave a comment and I enter your name for a chance to win the Valentine Package! The winner gets picked January 26th!

dammit-to-hell but that is some kind of therapy right there. As it is cocktail hour here in Jawja I have a plastic sheet over my lap top so I a: don’t drool on keyboard or
b: drop my drink (totally worse than a shorted-out keyboard from drool).
but I digress…what a brave soul to venture into that haven of happenin’ heavenly home decor and artistry. bravo.

It was so much fun running into you and Peg first rattle out of the box! I finally got off the Bermuda Triangle row just in time for the announcement about parking on the road. We had to leave after that…guess who was parked over the white line?
You are a hoot…didja know that?

It was so much fun seeing and chatting and meeting with you and your mom. She is just the sweetest, now I know who you take after. OMG, the Sunday School story she told me, I’m still laughing. She’s just beautiful too, like you :) Thanks for mention and YOU my friend are the talented one! I copy you you know…

Jealous? Oh, yeah! Green! I know you would have loved to been able to buy something from every single dealer there. It had to be hard to narrow it down.

You sound like me. I think I’ve got something looking pretty good, and think it was a gosh darn creative idea. Then I go blogging. Sigh. My efforts are so puny compared.
