Words. They are powerful little things. They can make you laugh with abandon, weep with joy or smile with contentment. Some words sound funny - like clinkety-clank. Other words just look funny - like giggle. And still other words can make your heart ache with yearning - like dream.

Christmas has Sprung!

Or wait is it Spring that has sprung? Either way in my space at Antique Queen’s in Rockdale it is officially Christmas! Life for me is all about ease. I don’t do anything complicated. From the way I dress….give me a T, a pair of jeans and a little bling-bling and I’m out the door, to the way I cook….a little protein, a bowl of salad and dinner is served, to the way I decorate….move it over and shove it in!

I don’t do the packing-away-thing at all! Truly, I mind the packing and I mind the unpacking! Life is simply too short! So, if I can fill it, stand it, move it, push it, set it or put something on top of it, that’s exactly what I do! Presto, Christmas HAS sprung!

The doll head has moved and the battery jar is now filled with vintage pink ornaments! Add a SweetTalk tag and how easy is that?

I love these vintage paper Christmas houses and the mercury glass beads are adorable!

Yes, thank you Santa, I’d like to live in the pink one! And I’d like to be tiny enough to fit in it too!

The feather Christmas tree I found at Garden Ridge a coupla years ago and it’s too cute with my nod to a pink Christmas!

What? A whisk broom doesn’t go with the theme? Why not! That and a few SweetTalk words are all you need!

An old refrigerator drawer filled with boxes of vintage ornaments!

Uh-oh, this pink house is pretty cute too…hmmm!

How fun are these commercial bread baking trays? I fill these with all kinds of multiples but since the current subject is Christmas, only ornaments would do!

Nothing like a few flower frogs to hold some of my favorite SweetTalk Christmas words and just like that I turned this vignette from everyday to holiday!

I know nothing about this word firsthand…I have the fear of Santa running through my veins! But every now and then I just wonder……..
