What an amazing week!  Old friends, new friends, a new experience at Marburger Farm…which I will now officially call “home”…and life changing moments!

I feel like a visitor on my own blog!  Just stopping in long enough to let you know that I’m home…a few bruises and scrapes…but unloaded and on to the next thing!

Company arrives tomorrow morning, but next week a full-blown collapse is inked-in on my calendar!

I’ll show you a few pictures of my space in the farm house…with many more to come!

The holidays are just around the corner…YIKES!  I know.  It’s unbelievable how fast this year is going!

So often I feel like I’m just hangin’ on by a thread while this crazy little life of mine drags me around!  But I gotta start talkin’ about it…NOW!

Yet another of my favorite words…..TIME…..I believe is the gift God gave us to heal the heart.

The husband and I headed for the Humane Society Saturday to pick out a new kitten!  I couldn’t stand it another day.  With the exception of a few years I’ve had a cat (or two) since I was six years old! 

Bruce did an amazing job picking out Sister so I sat back while he studied the cages looking for the kitten that would come home with us!  This little one was buried under her two brothers!  She climbed into Bruce’s lap and curled up in the bend of his arm and we knew she was IT!

She was born March 25 and I took her to the Vet today for her first visit…she weighed in at a whopping 2 pounds/2 ounces! 

She’s just a minute-of-a-thing!

We tried a coupla names on her and decided on “cookie”!  She’s just as sweet as a cookie with a dash of salt that makes her feisty!

I’ve always wanted a shop cat….problem is….I’ve never wanted a shop!

I told her on the ride home she was in for one heck-of-a-good life!  I am well on my way to spoiling her rotten and not apologizing for it!
