Words. They are powerful little things. They can make you laugh with abandon, weep with joy or smile with contentment. Some words sound funny - like clinkety-clank. Other words just look funny - like giggle. And still other words can make your heart ache with yearning - like dream.

RED business.

what the heck?  where exactly have the last three weeks gone?

i spent the better part of two weeks on a JUNK mission!  Mighty and i headed north…as i seem to have a knack for doing in snow storms…but this time i didn’t get stuck!  phew!  i headed south until i could head north again.  follow?

map required.  parts unknown.  new places with lots of JUNK!  excited!

this week a bug invaded my body in the form of a migraine from
H E double L.
i was confident this was the one that was finally going to kill me.  and for about 48 hours, i would have been perfectly fine with that outcome.

expect that i found all this good JUNK and i hated to miss Marburgerwhat’s a girl to do?  pray!

alas…by the grace of God…i lived.

so just in case you missed mei’m back and loaded for bear!

these arrived in the mail today…the coveted Marburger hang tags!  and they happen to be RED!

i know.  it’s a little late in the day, but it’s never too late to be happy it’s FRIDAY!

btw…this happens to be my 200th post!  miracles never cease!

Nov 13 2010

the wagons are circled…

i stand in awe of God and His patience in constantly reminding me of His grace.  little did i know that when i sent an email to my favorite trash-talking friend, debbie, she would volunteer to rally the troops.

it was a post i could not bring myself to write and yet i struggled because i so believe in the power of prayer.  but how was i to get the word out when all i was managing to do was hang on by a tiny thread?

and God, once again, came to my rescue and the email i got back from debbie blew me awayshe asked if she could write the post.  without a doubt God chose her to speak for me when i could not find my own voice.

“Pray without ceasing.” ~1 Thess. 5:17

and if you would like a little *proof* of the power of prayer then i encourage you to check out jenn’s (debbie’s daughter) blog.  i was honored to pull my wagon up to the prayer circle and join many others who prayed her daughter, bella, from a struggling preemie to an energetic and adorable going-on 2 year old!

“Continue in prayer and watch in the same with thanksgiving.” ~Col. 4:2

from the bottom of my heart, thank you to my dear blogging friends.  those i know, those i don’t.  and to my sweet friend debbie for her beautiful post.  as my faith is tested i will find great comfort in knowing…that because of each of you…prayers for my family are being heard in heaven.

“For by grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God – not of works, lest any man should boast.” ~Eph. 2:8-9

happy 100th post to me!

Truly the miracle is not that I found 100 things to talk about, the miracle is that you all have come, post after post, to read what’s been on my mind!

The good and the bad.  The joy and the sad.   The highs and the lows.

I HEART each of you for reading and for commenting!  You will never know how many times your words lift me up, make me smile and laugh-out-loud!  You have shown me things in my own posts I didn’t see, given me new perspective and supported me.

I know God brought each of you to my little blog as another way to show His grace and blessing in my life!  I appreciate you so-so much!

Thank you….heart kisses from me to you!

One of the interesting things I have learned, since launching SweetTalk, is that words are very personal.  I don’t know why I thought people would generally like the same few words.  But what I’ve discovered is that the words we love are individual to each of us.

You’ve spent the last year learning about words that have great meaning to me and this post I’d like to know a little something more about you!

In your comment, please tell me your favorite word and why!

Now…..did y’all feel the earth shake just a hint when I jumped for joy Thursday afternoon as the last truck pulled out of the driveway?  The closet is finished!  hooray!

It is so incredible, I seriously considered taking a pillow and blankie and camping for the night!  I couldn’t start hauling clothes in fast enough!  ohmygoodness!

Let me just step outta the way and show you some pictures!

i’ll start with the token *husband* side!  he deserves credit for being neat!

next up, my favorite part!  56 shoe cubbies = 90ish pairs of shoes!  that about covers it!

wasn’t sure if i should organize them by color or style or summer or winter, but it pretty much ended up being color!  first up….pink!

every girl needs animal print shoes!

look how cute my converse are!

even the uggs have a home!

enough with the shoes!  i  had an extra cubbie for decorating!  a *couch* jewelry box my sis gave me with a pair of my grandmother’s shoes next to it!  i was gonna wear that tiara one time for my birthday in warrenton, but it ’bout squeezed my eyeballs outta my head!

now i can also claim….everything has a place and everything is in its place!

you’ll be relieved to know that the mexican dresses are safe & sound!  and they don’t even drag the floor any more!  BONUS!

secret hiding place….in tact!

pull out laundry and dry cleaning baskets!

TANGLE-FREE hanger zone!

oh yeah, found my MIA bunny slippers on the cleanout!  that was exciting!

the old dresser crammed in the back….gone!  and replaced with *his* and *hers*

IT’S A BEAUTIFUL THING!

Back to business!  Comments!  Comments!  Comments!

Monday I’m drawing a winner for the SweetTalk 4th of July Package!  This is one of my favorites!  And you gotta comment to be entered!

And don’t forget to leave a comment celebrating my 100th post with your favorite word and why!

Gotta run…..I spy an empty shoe cubbie!
