this year isn’t quite behind me and already 2012 is calling my name!  i’m pretty sure it’s not possible for next year to be as busy as this year…unless of course, i just jinxed myself…it will be full, cuz that’s the way i roll, but hopefully not overflowing!

my contract for the Dolly Johnson Antique & Art Show has been mailed!  i’ve not set-up at this show before and i’m really looking forward to it! 

i’ll have to take my A-game because Ann will be my neighbor and
her taste is impeccable!  maybe i’ll do a little spit & polish on my JUNK…nah!

of course, i’ll be returning to Marburger in the Spring!  it’s
“March” on my calendar for set-up, but the actual show dates are
April 3 – 7.

heck, if i can do both, so can you!  if your schedule is anything like mine then i know it fills up fast!  get those calendars marked cuz i’d love to see you in Ft. Worth and Round Top!

10am tomorrow morning the tape falls and shoppers race (you think i’m kidding) to be the first to see the BEST of Round Top…Marburger Farm!

I interrupt this regularly scheduled RED Friday post in order to *tease* you with a few…and I mean a very few…JUNK items headed for Marburger Farm!  Show opens Tuesday the 28th at 10am and is staying open late, til 7pm, for an excellent cause!

Which I seem to mostly have between midnight and 3am!  In the midst of it ALL I decided to take on a small home improvement project…that word pops up a lot in my world!  Not sayin’ that’s a good thing…if you know my history…

Three days after I return from Marburger Farm company is coming!  Always fun, but now the unaccomplished goals from Summer are haunting me!

So, I scheduled the removal of the carpet in the guest room and hardwoods are going down…tomorrow!  It would probably be an excellent time for you to start worrying about me!

the room is down to the bones…i need to take apart the bed and get it out of there…

a pile of furniture now taking up precious space in the tee-vee room…

i have a big closet in that room that houses all the Christmas-Crap…which is now stacked in the bathroom, dining room, study…etcetcetc…i’ll spare you those pics!

the mattress and box springs now living between the couch and breakfast table…

I’ve got my eye on the prize and my mind on a little redecorating!  See ya when the dust cloud clears!

It’s true!  Marburger Farm is staying open late…til 7pm…Tuesday, September 28 to support an excellent cause! 

A portion of the gate admissions as well as a portion of food and drink sales from Tuesday will be donated to the Houston Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure!

Good Gosh!  September 1st…is it possible?  YES.IT.IS.

No worries, I’m on board!  Marburger Farm opens September 28 and I’m a pricing-packing fool!  The sleepless nights have started as I get so-so excited!  A place where creativity flows!  And so many friends I can’t wait to see!  Theresa’s blog party!  oh my stars!

As usual, I’m getting ahead of myself!  First, a winner has been picked and that winner is ANGELA!  She stopped over during the big *adventure* this summer and played blog games! 

It paid off!  Angela will be receiving a SweetTalk Halloween Package in the mail!  Oh how I love hap-hap-happy mail!  Congrats Angela and thanks so much for hanging out on my blog!

I gotta tell y’all…that was a fun-filled, action-packed, bargain-hunting bonanza!  We’re a little dinged up tonight!  But…man…was that ever a BLAST!

#1. i’m crazy for it’s-not-the-size-it’s-suppose-to-be!  found this doll hutch early in the game…not only is it adorable BUT it’s PINK and green!  the price?  $100!

#2.  who doesn’t need a good barrel bar?  padded, in stylish brown AND it closes!  sweet!  it could be that unusual piece that’s perfect for Marburger Farm!  this one was on the market for $95!

#3.  next up, this adorable white, shabby step stool!  meets all my *look* criteria and just $25!

#4.  love me a good bargain…two for the price of one!  these band hats are just quirky enough for me, but would anyone else like them?  hmmm.  a mere $20! 

#5.  last, this cute little elf!  who wouldn’t want to take this little guy home for a quick $20!

Keep in mind that I’m (trying!) to buy wholesale…I have to weigh whether or not I can make a little money on the flip and would anyone else love it enough to pay me for it!  Always a challenge!

I started at Marburger in the Fall of 2000 and I’m thrilled to be returning!  I will be setting up in the Marburger Farm House!  Follow this link for a map of the show on pages 7 & 8!

Can you stand how cute it is?  See that window to the left of the porch?  That’s where I’ll be!

Usually I can’t sleep starting the month before Round Top, but I’m feeling some serious sleepless nights starting soon!  I will be joining my big sis and so many of my sweet friends!  Not to mention that I will be at Theresa’s blog party ON TIME!
